JQ Motors Sponsors Audi Precision Cup
JQ Motors, as the sole dealer for Audi in St. Lucia, is proud to sponsor the first ever Audi Precision Cup on February 27th and 28th at the Club GAR indoor range facility at the Bois d'Orange Industrial Zone.
The two-day, four-event 100 round shooting tournament, according to tournament director Anthony Bristol of Club GAR, is one of the progressive moves being pursued by the club to raise the level of the sport in St. Lucia.
"This is an important hallmark in the development of the shooting sport in St. Lucia and it's going to be hosted by Club GAR in association with Audi (St. Lucia), the only sponsor and ts representatives JQ Motors Ltd." Bristol told the press.
General Manager of JQ Motors Ltd., Jason Clairmonte said, since its "excellent launch" in St. Lucia last year, the brand was sourcing possibilities that can tie into its marketing initiative. The shooting tournament, he said, fit the criteria. To this end, Audi (St. Lucia) last Wednesday presented a cheque totaling $10,000 to Club GAR for the staging of the event.
"This brand is synonymous with luxury and precision and performance and this spirit is really followed through with the Precision Cup. That is why Audi was so interested in this prospect. Furthermore, what we felt made a lot of sense is that the Audi Q5, in particular in the model lineup of Audi, actualy matched with the ideals that we were seeing presented here." Clairmonte said.
